The Indiana Center for Evidence-Based Nursing Practice (ICEBNP) is part of a global cooperative effort to expand the understanding and use of research-based evidence to produce the best patient outcomes. The Indiana Center for EBNP is located at Purdue University Calumet's School of Nursing.

Systematic Review Training

The Institute of Medicine said: "the nation must significantly expand its capacity to use scientific evidence to assess 'what works in health care'." (IOM, 2008). They identify systematic reviews as a key strategy to realize this goal. We are certified trainers (Joanna Briggs Institute) and offer this opportunity for anyone interested in learning how to conduct a systematic review

Moving Evidence Into Practice: Knowing and Doing What's Right

We are pleased to offer our 4th annual evidence based practice conference. We are planning something for everyone-direct care givers like staff nurses, facilitators of evidence based practice like advanced practice nurses, quality and clinical managers and educators.

Clinicians, Quality Officers, Educators, Students
We welcome your abstracts for poster presentations that focus on using evidence in clinical practice, improving nursing care quality with evidence, teaching evidence based practice in the clinical or academic setting and integrated literature reviews/systematic reviews. We welcome both finished projects or those in progress that illustrate how you plan to use or teach evidence based practice.
